new to longhair [PIC]

hi my name is anand. i have read over the forums here for a few months and am about 3 months into growing my hair long.
from what i see here it looks like very friendly community and that is rare to see on a internet forum. attached is a picture of what my hair looks like as of a few days ago. i hope for it to get at least past shoulder blade length or maybe even longer.

  That's a TERRIFIC pic of yourself, and already I have to say that to my eyes you have the kind of hair that I consider to be pretty much "IDEAL" for growing out looooooong!!!
  Yes, this is a rare and extremely polite & courteous bunch of people here, with occasionally myself being one of the grumpier exceptions to that rule (LOL); but, hey, don't let that ever stop you from your main goal of growing your mane out, -- just ignore me if you ever notice some growling on any of my "bad hair days", and I'll guarantee that you'll thoroughly enjoy being involved with MLHH here!
