I've been working on my hair purposely since June 1, 2005. On that day my wife donated her hair to Locks of Love to make wigs for cancer patients, and I thought it was a great idea, and started growing my hair out. When it got long enough to donate, I just couldn't do it. I have never in my life had long hair until now, and I really like it, wish I had been doing it longer.
The picture above is from sometime last year, and the video I linked to shows my hair as it was yesterday. You need only watch a few seconds of the video to see the hair.
I am excited to find this place and hope to visit regularly. I also several months ago found "Beard Team USA" and joined the Beard Team.
I had thought my hair would be longer after nearly five years, but I suspect I'm not taking proper care of it. I might just start to work on that as well.
Best wishes,
Flat Lander
Hello there, Flat Lander!
Thank you so SO much for sharing your YouTube video link, as I haven't seen anything that funny in a long, long time, -- I'm even ready to join your "church"!!!!!!!
It's such a privilege to be introduced to such a pious man as yourself, as I bet you must be a total inspiration to AT LEAST your own pocketbook (LOL)!!!!
All kidding aside, re. your comments about Locks of Love, I'm grateful that you did NOT cut off your hair to donate it to that organization, as they have been under a bit of a cloud of controversy sometimes (like, in not even utilizing even a very small portion of all the hair that's been donated to them, even though they keep asking and sometimes even pressuring people to continue donating)...
There are other people who who know more about this topic than I do; but, let's just say for now that cancer patients could probably better benefit from cash donations right now rather than any more hair.
And, before I forget to say it... WELCOME to MLHH!!! It's a pleasure having you join us here!
