So it's an all North Amercian affair then! So who up for a bet and any prediction for the gold medal?
Canada!
I'll wager a Fiver
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, well I know it won't be popular with some here but I'd go with Canada also.Well their goaltender is Marty and he is the NJ Devil's #1 netminder so I'm kind or supporting the Devils by backing Canada.Make any sense?LOL.I'll pass on the bet though:)
Mark
I think it's too close to call. Canada has an overall younger team and a great goal tender, but USA is undefeated so far and they beat Canada in a previous match.
Either way it'll be a good game to watch.
USA USA USA USA USA !!!!!!!!!
Take it from a MSU Grad
It's Miller time !!!!!!
Personally, I'm rooting for Canada! The game means so much to them, and in comparison it means much less to us.
One matter I learned long ago is "who it matters the most to" should be given great weight among friends, and I consider Canada a friend.

Enjoy the party and the hangover :-)
Friends or not!
They deserve it Way to go Canucks!
And as a consolation for my fellow countrymen.
And as Mr Putin said of his mens figure skaters silver (you know the mouthy one who kept talking trash) "A silver is as good as gold" or something silly like that.
Thank you, Kevin and John!
You already know how much we have been celebrating in Canada. Also, that game was a genuine classic, and a true nailbiter. The fact that the winning goal was scored by our own Sidney Crosby (who hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia) was the icing on the cake!

That was an awesome game! I would have liked to have seen the US take the Gold, but the Canadians did a fine job and earned it. And to win it on their own soil...very cool.
Thank you, Kevin!

I was very proud of my country last night. Really proud.
I was not proud of my hangover this morning however.
