Anyone want to participate in the fun hot or not public-rated "beauty contest"?
If you do, submit a picture to the http://www.hotornot.com website and then copy the URL that they give you. Come back here and post the URL in the Optional Link URL box (and make sure you also type something in for Link Title) so we can all vote for you.
As far as I can tell, this is a wide open system, so many other people will be rating us as well.
I'd appreciate it if the first person who can actually see my picture lets me know that it showed up. I saw a message saying the submissions are moderated, and I'm curious how long it will take.

Just wait: I voted, and there were only 9 votes so far! That is not enough to calculate a rating.
Hmmm. The faq mentions something about votes being normalized, but I thought that applied to ranking and not to raw votes. The numbers are also supposedly reflected instantly after you vote, so if anyone else here votes, they can check here before/after their vote to confirm that it was tallied properly.

It's great to see a longhair over the 8.5 meter. Most of the girls who rate men are anti-longhair teenagers on Hot or Not, so it's really a refreshing site for sore eyes to see you have a high rating.

I went to the site and voted 10 and nothing happened. I had my Java functions turned off. I turned the Java on hoping not to get put off by pop-up ads, requests for email address, never ending questions, etc. There were no problems so I was able to vote 10 and see the results were 8.5 with 53 votes and my vote/rating was 10.
Damn, I wanna look like that when Im older!
