Hey Guys
Thought I would send an update. Followup pics of the back showing length to follow.
This post is selfish as I need encouragement. Came close to getting rid of it a few weeks ago. I am going on a trip in a week that is very formal, to say the least. 2 evenings requires tuxedos so I am foolishly nervous about showing up with long hair.
As always, thanks for your support.
Robert
Don't be nervous. You have a great head of hair. I think a certain percentage of men with short hair see those of us with long hair and secretly wish they too could grow their hair out long, but are afraid of ramifications.
Don't let it get to you. Men with long hair in formal wear seem to me to be more natural looking then men with short hair in formal wear. I attended a symphony recently where one of the bass players had long hair (all the men were in tuxedos) and I thought it looked great.
Yes Robert, Don't be nervous. You hair simply tied back would look most elegant. Or a bowler or top hat with your hair down around your shoulders would give a great retro feel of 19th century chic. Would turn heads and make some envious I believe!

Awesome, thick, luxurious hair, Robert. Keep it up!
Robert !
Your hair is already formal.....adding the tux is just going to make stunning presentation !!
Please post a photo of you all dressed up !!
Thanks

I believe longhair can look great in both formal and casual settings Robert.Don't be foolish and cut it just because of an occasion that will only be a footnote in you life whereas longhair can last a lifetime. As long as your happy with it that's what counts.Cheers

Hi Robert,
Thanks for sharing the update pics with us. Wow you certainly have a great head of hair and all the different colours and the sheen is amazing.
As the others have said it's great that you didn't do anything silly and I'm you will look great in a dinner jacket. If you get a chance do post an update of that. Good luck with you formal function and keep that amazing head of hair growing.
Cheers,
John.B
