Hey,
It's been a while, so I figured I'd make a post. A lot has happened, mostly that I've moved back in with my mom. It's not my dream living arrangement, but it is certainly better than where I was before. And, I have an interview tomorrow! If all goes well, I'll be a Library Clerk!
And, just in time for that interview, I discovered Sunday that my hair is now long enough to tie back and mostly stay in place and look decent. A few hairs won't stay, but they do at least stay behind my ears.
I need to take some pictures and get them posted... But I just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive and well.

Long hair in a ponytail/bun has always struck me as scholarly, so I would think that the position would be longhair friendly.
Cool! Being able to tie it back is certainly a milestone.

Good luck w/the interview! I am a librarian (actually, a manager at a public library) and have found the field to be quite liberal w/long hairs. I cut off 18 inches almost one year ago and am just now pulling it back all the way...this time, I let it fly free through the awkward stage w/no attempts to slick back, etc. No negative comments whatsoever! : )
