Was walking around the mall yesterday and a couple guys who knew some of the people i was with came over to talk. One guy had long hair and eventually we got carried away in the usual longhair meets longhair discussions.
How long since your last cut? Letting the hair flow to see who had the longer hair with a front and back comparison (me! by about 4-5 inches). Trying to get people to see which one of us had the best hair for headbanging. Different styles. Talking about getting is caught places. Another guy watching this talking about how he could have been a part of it if he didn't cut... etc. etc. etc.
All while watching the 5 girls and the guy with a buzz look at us like "what the hell?????". Only response i could think of - "Tts a guy, longhair thing. You wouldn't understand." :)
First time I've gone that in depth in a random longhair to longhair discussion. Twas awesome.
To add discussion... How often do you get into these talks with random people you meet?
PS. there were a hell of a lot of beards there last night too.

The older crowd act a bit weird when it comes to hair. A simple comment such as "cool hair man" sometimes results in a funny look as if to say, "Hair? Hair? I can't believe you mentioned hair!" Lol, they act like they're in a Hair Club and the first rule of Hair Club is don't talk about Hair Club.

Honestly, maybe twice in the last 8 years, it's a shame though, that is one thing I'd like to have a lot. Anotther reason for all of us to meet more frequently in the chat room.
It doesn't happen very often to me, at least with other longhair guys. Suprisingly, I get into longhair discussions a lot more with women than men.
