Hey everyone,
My name is David and my long hair is back, it's at shoulder length and growing fast! I used to post here and in 2008 I felt compelled to donate it, I actually made two ponytails out of it! Shortly afterwards I became uneasy and felt unhappy having short hair so I decided to start all over, I got a crewcut, I felt shocked after I did it but realized the hair would grow back pretty quickly so I was patient. I'm now at the point where I can do a high ponytail but for right now I enjoy wearing it down.
Thanks for reading this,
David
Hi David, Great that your back but to be honest David being a
common name and my memory being iffy at best. If you get a chance post a pic of way back then and today, that might jog my memory. Names come and go but I never forget a mane.
Kevin
Hi David and Kevin :-)
I'm Justin and not always so good at remembering names. But I DO remember Kevins and see that he just posted today. Hi Kevin! :-) Your hair is looking great!
And David, perhaps you posted before my brains dropped-out a while back? I can't remember, but a picture can be worth 1,000 words and then I will be sure to know even if I should have not known despite the fact that I didn't know when I should have known whatever there was or was not to be known to the best of my knowable Knowledge. Welcome back!
Justin~ (I'm "Justin.") Yes, this is me.
Bless you all for the replies,
I don't own a computer so I'm not able to send a pic, I'm at the library right now. I had started to grow my hair in March 2005 and by June 2008 I had very long hair and was happy about that. I had very strongly for the past 6 months wanted to donate it to locks of love and I was excited about that, when I went to the salon to get it cut I actually had two ponytails to donate! At first I felt great and was getting compliments about my new short hair style but after a few months I became unhappy about it, I needed to be happy inside. One day in October 2008 I got this compulsion to go to the barber shop and get a crewcut, I wanted to truly start over. It's now been almost a year and a half and I'm amazed how quick my hair grows, it's at a high ponytail and shoulder length!

Hi David
Great that you are letting your hair grow and I know once we can see your progress we will all be cheering you on.
Take care-
Justin~ (The REAL Justin!) LOL :-)
Well said there, Kevin! I also don't remember this particular David; but all he has to do is post whatever longhaired pic he posted in the past here at MLHH, and memories of David will then come flooding back to me like a tsunami of shampoos & conditioners...
(or something like that!)

Hi David,
I'm John :-) Welcome back and good to hear from you again and look forward to your future updates. Nice to see people growing their hair out again. Just hope it wasn't that "Locks Of Love".
Cheers,
John.B
Hi John
I'm Justin and now I'm back for a bit because my Sister and Husband left a few days ago after a visit with me. Good to see you're back also and Like David I also had a bit of a run-in with a Salon which rather took me a-back. I am glad David is doing so well and great to have him back! :-) Wow,you should see my hair now as it looks much different but I'm still Justin and enjoying the new "ornamented look" very much.
Well, at least we are all back and that's what counts when it comes to this board, for what would it be with everyone away?
Justin~
