Ok, I was just looking at the picture of myself in my college ID card. It was a picture taken back in July of 2001, and I had just gotten a haircut. My bangs were about an inch/inch and a half (don't have a ruler handy) above my eyes then. I've probably gotten about two haircuts since then, my last one being in... hmm, early March, I'm thinking. I'm supposing that it was about a half inch or so above my eyes then. Now it's right to my eyes, and if I flatten my bangs, they extend to a centimeter or so past my eyes. I'm wondering: about how fast does this mean my hair grows? I know that the average rate of growth is six inches a year, equalling one inch every two months, but I'm thinking that maybe mine's growing a bit faster. Based on the average growth rate, I was foreseeing about 8 - 10 months before it gets near my shoulders. What does everyone think?
