Hello all!
First, I apologize for not contributing to the board much since my last update (if any of you actually remember me, haha!) I just don't want to be one of those guys who just posts update pictures expecting praise but not giving anything in return. I'll try to get back in the habit of posting replying to posts again.
Now that that's out of the way, here are my ~15 month progress photos. No trims so far, just letting the hair take its natural course. I can make a decent tail now but a small portion of my bangs still won't reach the hair tie. Now I'm eagerly awaiting shoulder length and a full ponytail!
Goal length is terminal, as I tend to be an all-or-nothing kind of guy, haha. I believe that the natural hair length set by genetics is the length that suits each individual person the best.

Here is a photo from the back. Hair is still a bit wet from showering.
Lastly, a side photo.
Hi Dan,
You have an AWESOME head of great-looking hair -- and best of all, I feel you have a wonderful attitude and philosophy to go right along with it as well... a winning combo!!
Keep up the good work, and looking forward to hearing more from you in the future!
- Ken in San Francisco
Thank you for your kind words, Ken! Your posts are insightful and I really enjoy reading them.
You will definitely be hearing more from me, especially with your update pictures looming right above mine. They look fantastic!

Cool to see you back and a great update. I appreciate your
comments about wishing to be more than just a pretty face we do
get a lot of that sometimes. LOL Of course there's the flip
side where enthusiastic users reply to every thread under the sun
causing some to wonder "this one's a bit strange".
Hope things are good in your world.
Take care
Kevin
Thanks, Kevin!
I do think I'm a bit strange but I'll try to keep the replies reasonable, haha.
Thanks for all your hard work on this site!

Your hair looks great and is the ideal type to grow to full length. Your hair appears to have a smooth texture to it, which means little to no frizz and tangling. Consider yourself very blessed.
I am not nearly so blessed. Mine is full length, over a meter long, but far less than ideal to grow that long. Mine tangles and gets knots very easily, so I have to keep multiple hair bands on it.
Clicking on my photo will get you to a web page with a very rare loose hair photo of me.
Scott
Thank you, Scott, for your compliments!
Indeed my hair does not tangle much at all and I'm very grateful for that, but I imagine things will be different when it gets longer.
I can only hope that someday I'll get to the amazing length that you have!

Hi Dan,
You have made fabulous progree for only 15 months, and your hair is in excellent condotion with lots of shine. Straight hair like yours is the easiest to grow super long, so you should have no problems in your hair growing journey.
Take care,
David
Thanks, David! Your words are always encouraging.

Hi Dan,
Well I certainly remember you even if you hadn't posted in a while.I'm sure you'll be able to participate more when you have the time as we all get busy and going on the internet takes a backseat then.
I commend you on your goal length and the approach you are taking in growing out your hair.Just leave it natural, let it do its thing and yes, avoid trims at all cost! All or nothing is a great goal but I vote for all:)You have awesome looking hair, my friend, and it really looks great on you.Keep it up!!!Cheers
Mark
I'm glad you remember me, Mark.
No trims for me! I guess I shouldn't have said "nothing" as then I would be posting on the buzzboard instead, haha!
Your compliments mean a lot, thank you!
-Dan H.
Your hair looks to be in great condition, and you don't have long to wait before it will all fit into your ponytail. Good work so far!!
Frodo
Thanks, Jim, the full ponytail can't come soon enough!
-Dan H.
Hey Dan, nice job on the hair. I remember well when the bangs didn't weant to go in the hair tie. Then one day without thinking about it they did. Won't be long now. Have a good one.
Thanks for your response, Charlie. I'm looking forward to that day when I'll get that nice ponytail!

Dan;
That is a great length for 15 months. Looks like you have been taking good care of it.
We all go through stages when "real life" prevents us from being active on our favorite forums..no need to apologize..looking forward to see more of you as time permits.
Thanks for Sharing

Thanks for your kinds words, Walter.
Yes, real life is a bummer sometimes, but the good news is now I'll be able to visit this wonderful board more often.

Spectacular for a mere 15 months. You are truly blessed to have the hair-type that you do. Best of luck to you.
Thank you, Justin.
Your work on Youtube is very encouraging and has surely helped many people gain the courage to live their life as they please. I know it helped me.

Hi Dan!
Congratulations for your hair. It has a great texture and I like the color very much. It looks very straight, which allows you to do a lot with your hair...
Looking forward to you next update!
