Ok, that's it guys.
It's been 2 years since this picture and while I am pretty sure that I will grow my hair out again in the future for a third go around, for now, I am keeping it short.
That said, I am doing a bit of an experiment and not cutting it for six months until mid September. We'll assess it then.
Let me know your views on the short-haired me.

P.S. I am still a MASSIVE supporter of men having longhair and so please don't read my posts here as an attempt to encourage anyone to cut their hair, or discourage anyone from growing theirs out.
These postings are mainly for the people who remember me as ana ctive part of this wonderful community for many years.
Just read your story, you've got quite a history in having longhair.
Both styles look good on you so go with whatever you like and works for you. Although it would be nice to see you growing your hair again :)

Thanks for the compliment buddy. Right now I'm growing it out for 6 months or so, but in the future I will have long (i.e. 3 years minimum growth) hair again, once or many more times.

Paganfest is a metal festival with the pagan style music, that is metal with flutes, accordeon, violin and so on. One of my favorite metal styles.
Cool, I'm more into Thrash Metal myself...for the most part.
e.g. I also love Opeth and Power Prog Metal like Circus Maximus.
Ever heard of a band called Negurã Bunget?
They're not really 'Pagan Metal'as such, but have a bit of that flair.
But my all-time fave Metal band (apart from 80's Metallica!), one which includes electirc AND acoustic guitar, death AND clean singing, AND female singing, at least 3 different languages, epic material and choirs, is Israeli Band "Orphaned Land".
I *highly* reccomend their album Mabool (about the Biblical flood).
Trash metal is also cool, I love bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Sepultara. Opeth is also a really cool band.
I know them but haven't listened to them a lot yet. Will check em out, thanks for the tip.
Sound like a great combination, I really like band with a lot of different styles, so I will also check em out.

Yeah his story is a few posts down, pretty interesting you should check it out. Basically he had a prank pulled on him by a group of fellow wrestlers and his hair was duct-taped (along with the rest of his body). He was unable to remove it without ripping a ton of hair out and he couldn't accept how it looked after the fact, so he cut it.
Hey, no worries. You still look good even with short hair!
Just remember every time you get depressed: After some time you will be a real longhair again. It will take some time, but you will get there.

Dean - with or without the hair - you're still you and that's what matters.
P.S. - a little tip. WD-40 will dissolve the adhesive common on most types of tape. It will also dissolve permanent marker.
I have no idea what it would do to hair but don't intend to find out.

As for the payback...I was pretty strong throughout the whole deal, which wasnt the reaction that they probably wanted, so that was payback enough.
(also got some of their blood on my hands during the scuffle :)
and besides half of them are in Canada and the other half in england, so it's all pretty much water under the bridge now anyways.

I'm really pleased to hear that you have a successful business - sorry to hear of the bad time with your fellow wrestlers and the tape, bad news, make sure you wool their arses one day!!!
Everything is cool with me over here, i have had a cut and now keep my hair at shoulder length as it was an absolute pain when playing sport which I love.
