I am a long hair man, congratulation for your great hair. I have been one of your fans since 2004.
Mine is about waist length now. I send everybody my hair pixs, and ask for your advise about maintaining and wearing the healthy styles. Anyway, I like high bun most of the time.
Regards,
Boodie,
Sorry to throw cold water on an otherwise nice post; but I think you are not being truthful here. Judging from the back of your head, your extremely slim neck & arms, and poofy, feminine-looking sleeves on your blouse, I'd say you are female, not male.
One of the reasons I don't like back of the head only pics is that this very issue can happen. Deception is not allowed here, as stated in our FAQ.

I am a man, not female. Yes, I'm skinny and people often stopping me and asking about my hair. I am often mistaken as a female, since I always put my hair in high bun.
MLHH should ask for a DNS sample before letting people post!
You guys really are freaking out.

Yeah, this kind of paranoia is simply offensive and demeaning to boodie, who simply posted here to show us his hair. He doesn't have to go to great lengths to prove anything, and be subjected to doubt...
----------------------------------------------------
Your hair is gorgeous, Boodie. I made the same mistake at first, thinking that you were a girl. This has happened to me as well, at least once, when I was seen from the back. That person was very surprised when I turned around.
Anyway, a hearty welcome.
Scott
I was wrong to doubt you Boodie, I hope this doesn't discourage you from posting here in the future.
MLHH has just been a little skeptical of newcomers lately. We've recently had a few people just posting for attention with no real intention of contributing to the board.
Anyways, I apologize for my earlier comment, and I hope you continue to post on MLHH. You have an awesome head of hair.
Luke.
I apologize as I made the same mistake others did regarding your gender. But you have to admit isn't it cool being mistaken for a female and then the offender realizes the mistake:)I love seeing that look on their faces.LOL.It's Priceless!Anyway you have fantastic hair my friend and come back often to show it off!OK?Cheers
Mark
Actually, it would have been nicest of you to have posted this photo first instead of wait until now.
Hi Boodie,
I am so glad that you posted this photo, and was able to clear up any misunderstanding that me, and a lot of my fellow members had earlier. Like so many others, I also wish that you had posted this first, and that would have caused a lot less hurt feelings on your part too. (We have had problems with trolls recently, so our "alertness level" has been quite high lately.) Your photos from the back had me fooled too, and my apologies for that as well.
With that preamble out of the way, welcome to the hyperboard, and you do have a thick mane to be proud of, and I hope you do plan to stay.
Keep it growing,
David
I am a man, not female. Yes, I'm skinny and people often stopping me and asking about my hair. I am often mistaken as a female, since I always put my hair in high bun.
When I saw this person's pics, I could've sworn I was seeing a female.
I would be satisfied with just a face picture with the hair down, but I have a feeling this is the kind of person you described in your earlier post, who just post and disappear and are never seen again.
Man, I really wish the trolls would just piss off. We've been getting quite a few of them lately.
Hey Ken,
I am so excited about your, UK's and Luke's messages that I have to react to your message right away.
Yes, we all (most of us) live in a free world and can make up our minds in any way we want. But when it comes to judging people in public just because of certain attributes of them (without knowing them personally or giving them a change to react) I become very excited, upset and angry.
You called this guy boodie a lyer (ok, you said you think he is a lyer, but if somebody does this in public then he is prejudicing other people with this opinion) just relying on a slim neck and arms and some style of clothes.
I think I remember you saying that you are homosexual (if not, please apologize). Your arguments to call Boodie a lyer are very often the same arguments heterosexual rednecks use to call feminine men faggots.
So this is my wish for everybody (and especially for all longhairs): Be tolerant and accept other people whether they are long haired or short haired, gay or straight, feminine looking or not, colored or white, and so on...
I think boodie proved that he is male but even if he wasn't, no one can call another one a lyer just because of the size of his neck. If somebody pretends to be a male and posts a message here (with or without a picture), he probably just posts once and disappears. SO WHAT'S THE POINT????

..we should be more open minded. Even though there are those out there in the internets that would like to pull the wool over our collective eyes, we must remember the world is made up of people of all different types. I think in a later post Boodie shows us a side view of his face. Notice the little goatee?
Maybe a simple request of a face shot would have been more diplomatic.
Bruce
..remember, we have had contributors as young as 13 posting here.
Bruce
Thanks for your fair comment.. I see you guys that casting doubt on my gender are really funny...
I send you guys once more, my pix. This is my face...
Having seen this pix, and if there is anyone who still doesn't think that I'm a male, better come and visit me, so they can see me directly LoL....
Then given that this has happened before and you know the problem you should have posted this first. Those you did post did not help you: that is unfortunate for every one.
Yeah, the goatee settles the argument. Actually, facial hair settles all such arguments before they ever get started. Sorry man that you unknowingly waltzed into a trap - the guys here are fed up with "ain't I pretty" posts from folks who are clueless in seeing this ain't that kind of place. They don't know what the first word of our name (Men's) means.... Uh, I guess?
Welcome, dude.
Bill
Hi boodie,
My humble apologies for my earlier skeptical comments; but we do get a fair amount of trolls here from time to time that test our patience, -- however, in your case, I'm actually very happy to be proved completely wrong (even if it means that I'm now wearing mud on my face - LOL)....
Anyway, the best way for me to make it up to you right now after all this hullabaloo is to at least say the following: your hair looks TERRIFIC!!!
On a funnier note...
The past couple of weeks or so I've noticed that this board has been a bit slow & sleepy... Well, thanks to you.... NOT ANYMORE!! You've definitely brought in quite a storm of "animated" comments today!
THANK YOU. (Seriously!) And before I forget, I'd also like to add: Welcome to MLHH!!!
- Ken in San Francisco
Man? Woman surely - I will ignore your post as honesty is key feature of this Board.
...forgive our skepticism, we have had some scoundels attempting to pull the wool (hair) over our eyes, so I think we might be a bit jumpy. Please stick around. I look forward to your future postings.
Bruce
( Great looking hair, btw)
boodie can we have full length picture of your hair and also of different style.
Welcome here :)
Vivien
This is my friend, Eddy. He has very very long and thick black hair.
I should have had such texture if I treated my hair better...
Peaceee
Hi Boodie,
Thanks for sharing your pictures of you and you friend Eddy and you both having amazing heads of hair and a great inspiration to others growing their hair out. It's great to know that you have been with or lurking since 2004.
I'm sorry you had to endure the initial comments and as you know from reading over the years we are very supportive here and I hope that it does not affect you opinions of some people.
I look forward to your further contributions from you.
Regards,
John.B
PS...as for some of the others, you hang your heads in shame!
Thanks John..
Seems you have thick hair, any of your hair pixs here ?? Can I see it ?
Regards,
B
Hi John,
My head is hanging so low right now that my hair is dragging on the ground (in my dreams at least - LOL)....
After I finished flogging myself yesterday, I went out to look for a cross to nail myself onto; but unfortunately none in the neighborhood. Oh, well. I'll probably find a good one next time I do something shameful again, -- which at the rate of how often I usually accomplish shameful things in my life, I suspect that will be tomorrow!
Yours in Longhaired Mischief and Trouble-making,
Ken
Hey Ken, I was just up here looking for a nail for myself. Guess there is a "nail shortage" in Mt. View where I live. But like you, I will look tomorrow as well.
Take care-
Justin~
thank you, John. Its about time someone said this. Ahat the hell happened to this board this weekend. Seems like everyone I know's (family, friends, internet peoples) has had the weekend to end all crappy weekends these past 4 days.
Welcome Boodie and wasn't that an amusing thread. Even though we have our moments we are a decent bunch of people. You do have amazing hair and I hope you decide to stick around in spite of everything.
Sadly the tone on both sides was a bit much even for my tastes. So it's my goal to not have another one of these threads even if it means declaring Marshal law. If anybody wonders what exactly I mean all I'll say is use your imagination.
Kevin
It was very encouraging to see you! I wear my hair that way too! ;p I showed one of my best friends, and she said you have very nice hair, and to tell you that regular trims keep it healthy looking.
This is exactly what my friend wrote about your picture -
'looks like his hair is in pretty good shape-- you'll have to tell him, occasional trims are essential to maintaining a smooth mane.'
