Yea I just recently had my hair dyed jet black and I after I wash it and use conditioner, it like extremely thick and I cannt brush it. If I brush it I rip hair out of my scalp. Why does hair dye cause hair to make hair thick and hard to comb? what should I use so it will be easy to manage with the same effects as before using dye?
will detangling conditioner and spray detangler work? whats weird is that after my hair drys which takes 2 hours to dry because my hair is long and thick naturally. I used pure protein before and had the same problem as now but worse when wet.
thank you

'Cause permanant hair color has a chemical in it to make the surface of the hair open up so the coloring chemicals can enter the central part of the hair shaft. When you're done coloring, the scaly things still tend to bug out a bit, making the hair feel rough and hard to manage.
It will help . . . next time use a semi-permanant hair color. It's less harsh on the hair. I use Wella Colorcharm.
Good luck,
