So my bangs are about 6 1/2 inches or so now (basically everything is, started from a buzz) and I'm really enjoying my every other day wash that I've gotten into the routine for. The only downside is on day #2 my bangs are oily where as everything else is still pretty consistent. I use the BBB and its still just oily enough to look like i haven't showered. Got to thinking and realized that since i always wear my hair down and I have an oily face, I bet its getting all this excess oil from the face.
So now you know the lament, my question is this. What do you guys do to deal with facial oil on the bangs?
Blot. Frequently. You could try an astringent or see if your doctor has something to make you less oily, but those could affect your skin in other ways. Blotting takes one second and a tissue.
Never happened to me, but what you have deducted makes alot of sense. Why not try using pins and pin those bangs (fringe) to either side to solve the problem.
thanks for the tips guys, a hankerchief to wipe my forehead seems to work just fine. Its funny its not like my face is oily enough that you could even feel it by touching it, but apparently thats just enough to collect in the hair fast.
I've been avoiding pinning my hair for the mostpart but that gives me a pretty good idea, im gonna try throwing my bangs straight back and letting them fall on their own today and see if they actually just stay flat on my head, its gotten long enough now it looks like it could.
