When I started growing my hair, my sister was inspired to grow out her shoulder lenght hair as well. 32 months later we decided to take a comparison picture, I tried to match my sisters height but I was a bit to low.
My sister is on the left, I´m on the right.

Both of your hair looks great! Without your waves you would probably have about the same length hair as her, probably a bit less. But waves make your hair look more interesting (my opinion). Actually I have always thought of straight hair as more feminine and curly hair as more masculine, I wonder if I am the only one who thinks that. My rationale is that straight hair is prim and proper (girls), where as curly hair is wild and free (guys).
My sisters hair is a little bit longer but I'm cathing up to her. I like my waves too although it's a bit more work to maintain my hair. Both types of hair work for both genders but females care more about their appearance so they keep their hair neater. I like to have my hair look like nature intended so I don't brush it for example.
You both have fantastic heads of hair...well done :-)

I normally think of curlier hair as the more interesting and better-looking than straight; but in your sister's case, I hate to say it, but: her hair is hands-down GORGEOUS!!! Not that your mane isn't also impressive; but, in my humble opinion, your sister definitely wins the blue ribbon (LOL, you probably didn't even know that you two were in a hair "contest")!

Awesome, Vincent. I wish I had a little more wave to my almost stick-straight hair. Oh well, easier to take care of anyway lol. Hows the face fuzz goin? Last I heard you were just lettin it grow.

Like you say, waves look nice but tangle more easily so it's more work to maintain.
I did let it grow for a while but right now I've shaven everything of. One side was not full enough so I didn't like it. The best style I had was a goatee and mustache. Once my hair is more developed I will grow it again.
I will include two pictures, one from the right side and one from the left so you can see for yourself.

She did have a head start but I'm cathing up. She had trims in between I just let my hair grow like nature intended.

Thanks. Our hair looks longer but your hair is very unique. Not a lot of people with curly hair like yours grow it out. Hang in there and your hair will hang on your back too!
