Your mane looks fantastic. You are really blessed to have such thick shiny hair. No more time to hesitate, just let it grow. Waist length takes 4 to 6 years depending on your height and hair growth rate. Looking good.

I agree with the other comments here that you are off to a great start with very healthy looking shiny hair and whatever you do to care for your hair you are doing it right. Just think how in another 12 months or so time your mane will be twice it's current length!
