What will my hair look like when it's long?

Hey, I'm starting to grow my hair (I never done this before) and I always wanted long hair. The problem is I have VERY wavy hair and it's also VERY thick. If I flatten it (which I dont but saying if i do) I get curls in the sides,which is probably just short waves. So far it's medium length , kind of. I'm going through the "awkward stage" when the hair starts growing and it looks sort of funny. The main question is what it will look like, shoulder length. I'm wish it won't stick up. Even though it goes down and the back is flat. Someone told me that it might look like Jim Morrisons hair which I want, so i'm hoping for that. I might post pictures if you guys want. Thanks :).

  It's hard to say, hair can do a lot of things and have will of it's own. But the longer it get's the more it straightens out due to gravity.
  My hair is wavy and thick too, now it's long only the end have curls the rest is straight.

      Your hair is very wavy, I would almost call it curls.
      Your hair will probably be quite "big" and messy but if you like the look that's very cool too.

  Messy. Lol. At least mine does. I have thick wavy shoulderand its a jim morrison on one of his bad hair days. Im in love with it though and have come to embrace the messy look as part of my personality. But my opinion is unless you have straight hair or go to the hairdresser or arrange it yourself carefully, its always going to have a messy touch. Either that or I have the hair from hell. Peace
