Hey I just got some pictures from college and I going to post this to show the length of my hair. How long should it take before I can tie it up do you think?
WOW! You have awesome hair, I don't get why you wanna cut it.
So cool.
Hi MG. ABout this undercut- I understand the above and behind ears, but what happens right at the center of the neck- at the very bottom where the hair line is? DO I shave an inch from the hairline up the back of my head? Cheers man, you are a great help on questions like this!
NO. Grab all the hair at the back of your head like you were going to
put it in a tail. All the hair that's long enough to go into a tail
you DON'T cut. But under this long hair there should be some short
curly or frizzy hair that never will grow long. Usually you can al-
most see a "line" between the long hair and the short hair if you pull
the long hair up. It is from this line down that you cut or shave.
My undercut involved cutting just a little long hair on the sides and
virtually none at the back of my neck. I got my barber to take a
picture the last time I had it cut (about once a month) but I haven't
finished that film yet so I don't know if it turned out. Hope this
helps. If not, let me know.
BTW what type of pics are yours that they look kind of different from
the others? Cheers
They are GIFS- They lose some picture quality but it cuts down on space so I dont have to mess round with the file size.
Cheers for that- great help!
My answer was here yesterday but its gone today. Let me know if you
want me to post it again.
most of what you have should tie back now. within a year, the 'bangs' or 'fringe' should reach the tail... probably closer to six months- meanwhile tuck it behind your ears or try to 'weave' it into the hair that is securely tied back. you might consider wearing a hat or bandana to help restrain your hair.
Dear In Utero--
You've got great hair. Be patient. If you have no had an undercut, don't do it. If you have some messy fussy hair on your neck, save it or bleach it, but an undercut will undermine your long hair and you will have to have it redone repeatedly to maintain the neatness.
James
InUtero,
Your hair is great.
I agree with James -- don't mess with cutting *any* of it. Those thin hairs at the back of the neck are normal, everyone has them. Women don't trim it -- at least not any woman I've ever seen -- so why should we?

Nice hair bud! Does not look too much longer before you can ponytail it. How long has it been?
I an going on 11 months now and it is great!
