A manifestation for the Faculty Day was held in the municipal library on Monday, and several students were to read their works and perform two plays and a presentation. Here I am, sitting and waiting to be called to the stage. I read four poems.
You'll notice I shortened my hair quite a bit. I did that in the beginning of February having been convinced that I have way too many split ends, and I have never trimmed it till today. Hopefully, it's my last trim till I find a new flat after the approaching graduation from college.
Hi Nikola,
Your hair looks awesome and ever so thick:)I'd be suspicious of suggestions by others that your hair looks damaged as it could be their subtle way trying to get you to cut your hair short again.Obviously you didn't go short ...thankfully!Looks like a fun day and I'm sure your poems were great.Good luck on finding a new place and on your upcoming graduation.Cheers
Mark
Your advice is always a relief to read, Mark. Thank you for all the words. I really wish I had somewhat more collocutors telling things like that.
Nikola
Glad to be of service Nikola:)You gotta be careful about some peoples intentions. That girl sitting next to you doesn't have nearly as nice hair as you and that could conjure up some jealousy.I can just imagine her trying to dream up some BS about your hair to get you to cut it like a real man.LOL.Just joking, I'm sure she is a very nice person.Just my imagination runnin' wild again.
Mark
I think she looks cute!
Your hair is looking so thick and healthy and what a smile you're sporting!!!!!!!!
LOL - there are the girls again!
"LOL - there are the girls again!"
I know. I'm just that much of a stud, aren't I?
>:-D
Hi Nikola,
OMG is that a smile...I wonder if it was induced by such lovely company you keep :-)
Look at the back of the pic is that lurking longhaired mad scientist I see...perhaps you should get them to join us!
Cheers,
John.B
PS...woops....hairs looking full and good condition :-)
Hari would kill me should he ever find this out... but I'll risk anyway.
Well he might be flattered and we could get a new member. You know how it is be proud of having longhair :-)
Hi Nikola.
Nice update, All looks good. I assume the poems are in Serbian do you have an or can you work up English version?? I would be interested to see them sometime
Good luck on the eventual move to your own place.
Kevin
"...can you work up English version??"
Lady Serbia
Snow and sunshine veil her in gleam
When none is left to send her mournful tears
With my lips I listened to her trumpeters
And while inside the stranded rest in their dream
Snow and sunshine veil her in gleam
With her tresses branches hug in a braid
Balmy dewy branches of delaying spring
Their scent rousing a deep sting
In the midst of the severed trees shade
With her tresses branches hug in a braid
Whenever awaken tis but her that I see
The thunder gods secret and leaf of no ones tree
The lady calm and solemn entirely
Her lively smile all in chastity
Whenever awaken tis but her that I see
Still what was it that plodded in strain
Between the two stars falling afar
The tang of Gods blood or the instant of pain
When a dialogue with her crosses the bar
Still what was it that plodded in strain
Crushed up the path of fathers I ascend
Like a sycamore grain eternity will toss
In my eyes blueness of no end
To a man a bliss to a child a cross
Crushed up the path of fathers I ascend
Feel oh lady the kisses of mine
Even if I may only be bribing you with trails
Of no life which when they intertwine
Leave us the miserable to share our wails.
Feel oh lady the kisses of mine.
From a tearful past to a shining future.
Serbia.
