Just a heads-up for my fellow ManOwaR fans at MLHH... "Thunder in the Sky" is being released in the U.S. and Canada today!
To be honest I didn't even know these guys were still around. Are they still the same lineup?Last time I saw them was at La'mour's in Brooklyn a loooooooong time ago.I'll have to check out the new release.Cheers
Mark
It's still Joey DeMaio on bass and Eric Adams on vox, with Karl Logan on guitar since 1994, and Scott Columbus back on drums since 1995. Here's a link to one of their more recent songs (set to scenes from "300"), to give you a taste of what they've been up to...
''Die With Honor,'' by Manowar (300 tribute)
Oops... it looks like Rhino has been back on drums since 2008.

Hi Val,
Hey that video makes me want to run out right now and buy their
CD.It's been so long since I heard them and that sample was awesome.
Great video too as it reminds me of when MTV used to play cool videos
like that all the time. Now I have no idea what the heck they do anymore.
Just checking out my "Fighting The World" disc:)

Oh yeah, they've put out some great music since "Fighting the World." "Kings of Metal" has some awesome tracks. "The Triumph of Steel" is probably my favorite of their albums, with an incredible piece of epic metal based on the tale of Achilles. Although there are a few songs scattered throughout their albums that I don't replay too often, I still consider myself a dyed-in-the-wool fan, and hail Manowar as the true "Kings of Metal."
Glad to hear you're enjoying revisiting their music! Check out YouTube if you have trouble finding more of their material.
