From Buzz cut short to 10 Months....
I been growing my hair since August of 2009 and the front of it only reaches the tip of my Nose....and its in that awkward stage right now....I have curly thick frizzy hair by the way....
It all depends on how quickly your hair grows. To your nose from a buzz in 10 months is fine - welcome to the awkward stage! Another ten months and you'll be able to keep most of it out of your face in a ponytail. Happy growing.

Thank you for your good wishes. I don't have as much time to post as I did, but I like to keep in touch. The sixteenth anniversary of my last trim is coming up two weeks from today.
I'm very happy with that, but still frustrated at not having the length I'd really like. Currently growing out sideburns (untrimmed for over a year and have to tuck the uneven strands behind my ears).

Hey Sunny this is a picture of me back in January 2008 of me at 10 months growth! you can see I was in the akward phase as well, but it goes away months after that! Keep growing :)
