I think my hair is still a little too short for the pony tail, locks from the front keep falling out... but even if they were longer I think I would have a hard time getting all my hair into the pony tail. Any good tricks or suggestions for getting a nice looking pony tail, especially a higher set one? I'm thinking in 1-2 more months I'll be ready.
As I have posted here before, time and patience are the only solution, but the wait will be worthwhile. The first full ponytail where everything stays in securely is one of the most satisfying milestones, and the most memorable in the future.
Ha, I believe it! I have no end length in mind, but when people ask me how long I'm going to grow my hair my answer is always long enough to tie back... can't wait.
I've been cutting my hair shorter. I have it at a place where it doesn't all fit back when i tie it. I dig it. Don't worry about getting it all back now. It will grow.
One thing that I did at that stage was to make a ponytail at the crown of my head that gathered up the front hair, then one a bit farther down that included the first ponytail, and so on, and so on ....
It works well.
