I've been looking around online for a Boar Bristle Brush since I started water washing more, and I've been really surprised by the price differences. Is it worth it to shell out 30 bucks for a boar bristle brush when there are also boar bristle brushes that are like 10 bucks?
I would say as long as its 100% boar bristles on the brush it should be fine no matter the final price.Maybe that $30 dollar one has some exotic wood for a handle or its 14 ct. gold!LOL.I only paid around $12 for mine and it has a bamboo handle which I guess is cheap material.I love the brush as its the best I've ever used on my hair:)Forget all those synthetics out there.Hope this helps Devon.Cheers

I've worn my hair long for 35 years, to the middle of my back, and any long bristle brush will straighten out anything. I usually comb out in the shower, and then braid it afterward.
Boar bristle come in grades. The best, most expensive, grade comes from the base of the bristle and has a naturally rounded tip. The other grades have cut tips.
