1. I don't know too much about hair and I'm not sure on the difference between thick and thin hair. Can someone give me some characteristics or maybe some pics of people with thin and thick hair.
2. Same thing for the terms "body" and "volume". I wish I could post a pic of my hair but I can't, however I can describe it. It is very wavy, with quite a few cowlicks on the top (esp. the bangs) and well like I said earlier I'm not sure what thin and thick hair is so can't tell you that, but it's quite big and feels rather soft towards the back but a bit rough on top sometimes. And my biggest problem, it doesn't move! I'm at six months and I would like my hair to "fly" when the wind hits it but instead it just ends up looking like a cotton ball. Is "body" or "volume" something I need or don't need? If i don't need this than what type of hair do I have and how can I improve it?

What you need isn't body or volume, just length, and for that you need growth, and for growth you need a little more time and a lot of patience, but you WILL get there.
Well put...with the focus on what is important and the dismissal of what isn't when it comes to having longer hair.
