Well, the big day finally arrived on July 11th. It was the most wonderful day fulfilling all my expectations and dreams about it and more. It was hot but not as bad as some of the previous days and there was no rain. We had an outdoor ceremony at a picturesque old-fashioned location on a working farm.
It was great to have our own DavidN in attendance and we really appreciated the effort he made to be there. I don't have all of the photos yet so I don't have a photo of him but I'm hoping that David if you have photos of your own that you could add to this thread, that would be great.

Thanks Luke! Well, the DJ didn't have too big a selection of Metallica songs seeing that it was a wedding, LOL, but he had Enter Sandman so I chose that.

I was genuinely honoured to be at your wedding, and was delighted to share your special day with you and yours. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony, and I am glad that you shared these outstanding photos with our fellow hyperboard members.
I do have a few more photos (some are near duplicates of yours, though, since I couldn't resist the "you may kiss the bride" photo, and there were a lot of camers clicking everywhere at that moment in time), but I do have a few more to share.
Here is one of me with the happily married couple.
After your cake cutting ceremony, I could not resist taking a picture of your "cake kiss"!
I also took one of you and Amanda having your first dance as a happily married couple. I only wish I had zoomed in closer!
Of course I feel I made awesome memories of my own by being there, and may the two of you be blessed with a wonderful life together.

Yes, it does seem like just a short while ago that I proposed to Amanda on that beach in February 2009. It has been such a whirlwind since that time but a joyous and anticipatory one.
Thanks for your kind words. I've eagerly looking forward to being able to post this thread and share my joy with all my friends here. I agree that I am very fortunate indeed and want to make sure that I always appreciate what I have.
We have only gotten a fraction of our pictures so far. If it wouldn't be too indulgent, perhaps I'll post more when we get the rest.

It means the world to me to have received such heartfelt comments from my friends here. I didn't have a single family member attend because I decided I could no longer continue in the religion of my birth. My friends really are my family now and I've received so much support from you all and the ones who traveled from literally around the world to be there at the event.
Amanda's family has also adopted me as their own and it's been wonderful to have family again in that sense.
