Hey guys,
It's been at about 20 months since I last shaved my head. I must say that I am really starting to like how it is weighing itself down now.
I've just been lurking for quite some time now. I find that water washing by itself isn't working for me, but if I shampoo my hair once a week it comes out great. what I'd really like to know is what soap that LONGHAIREDLUKE (Thanks for the youtube link Justin!) uses for his hair, as it seems to be a very good routine for those of us with curly hair. Also, those videos have inspired me to grow out my hair to about half down my back, genetics willing.
Anyways, thanks for all the support that you all have given over the time that I've posted here, it has helped me considerably!
Hey Oneeye
Great update! Thank you. :-)
I "think" Luke tells of this in one of his comments. At any rate, I would surely email him if I were you for the answer or ask the question directly to whatever of the several videos he has made. Guaranteed you WILL get a very nice reply. Luke is a very fine gentleman who lives in Germany.
Justin~
ps: Water washing never worked for me either and I know guys that have posted about trying to do it here. With few exceptions, I seem to recall we never end-up hearing of a smashing success. The BIG success secret for the best long hair ever (my opinion) is in using Conditioner after Shampoo. (Not a single failure on that one that I am aware of.)
Hey Justin, thanks!
Yeah, water wash only help my hair out for a while as I had started out washing my hair EVERYDAY. In fact it was coming here that helped me find out that that was the cause of the frizz that I had. Now though, it seems I have too much hair to be able to just comb the excess out with hot water running over it.

Your hair is coming along well. Until you grow it out, it is difficult to determine just how long your hair can grow to. You may be able to reach your waist.
I am glad that MLHH has helped you in growing your hair. That is our main purpose, to help men to reach their hair length goals.
Scott
It would be great if I could reach that far Scott!
.
Oneeye, Wonderful color and curls! Keep it growin' n' flowin'!
peace, jonalbear
Haha! Yeah, I stopped with the water wash only and my hair ends up being several shades lighter! I do like the color of it when I'm out in the sun. Thank you.
What's your shirt say? Looks like a spoof on the lords prayer! I want to see it all!
Hey John C,
It is a spoof off of the Lord's prayer. It is called the "Barmen's prayer." LOL, I thought it was funny so I bought the shirt a while ago.
Hi there,
Thanks for de-lurking and postin the update pictures.
Looking at the back shot you hair looks in amazing condition and certainly has great shine. Keep it growing and I look forward to your next update. I nice to know that we can encourage people to grow their hair out.
Cheers,
John.B
I'm not sure if I could have made it past the awkward stage without you guys here.
Thanks John B!
Hey man,
You have a very impressive head of hair... thanks for sharing.
--Val
Thank you Val.
Oneeye, you have an awesome head of curly hair. I can remember when you first came here, and you've really come a long way! I wish you all the best with your hair endeavors.
Chris.
Thanks Chris! Yeah, time flies doesn't it?
Hi OneEye. Your hair looks good and you do have some twirls on the back. Having non-straight hair takes time to grow out as length gets incorporated in curls, but I have a question regarding your eye. Are you winking at the camera, or did you lose an eye in an accident/by disease? Please let us know.
Matthew
Hey Matthew, thanks for the compliments. I actually lost my eye in an accident involving ammo.
Looking great - nice color, thickness.
I think waist length will be very doable for you.
Onward and downward!
- Oren
Thanks Oren! Onward and downward!
Hi Oneeye,
What an excellent update! You have come a long ways, and your natural waves and thickness are awesome!
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks David! I plan on it, lol.
Hi there Oneeye,
I really like the look of your hair even at its current length.Personally I think you are a natural with hair that length so I hope you never get the urge to buzz again.Of course a longer mane would be awesome and icing on the cake.Thank you for posting your pic and sorry to hear about your ammo accident. You gotta respect that stuff.Take care my friend:)Cheers
Mark
Haha, yeah you do have to respect ammo. Thanks Mark.
