I have recently been informed that the type of women I like, because of my long hair, are now "out of my league". HA! Women I like, if this is true, please do stay there! That is all.
Whoever "informed" you of this is probably just threatened, because your long hair may be giving you MORE attention from women. Sure, some women don't like it, but I wouldn't want that type anyway :) Some go absolutely crazy for it, but they may not admit it.
Before I had "long" hair (even now it's just barely out of the awkward stage), no woman would even look twice at me. Now it seems they won't leave me alone! (much to my girlfriend's dismay, hahaha).

Look at it this way...
There are plenty of women out there who prefer guys with short hair. For women of this persuasion, there are also plenty of guys to pick from.
On the other hand, there are also a good number of women out there who not only prefer men with long hair, but are specifically attracted to them. If you have long hair, you reside within what could be regarded as a "specialty" category. The women who are looking for men with long hair (men who are, quite literally, exceptional), don't just prefer them; they tend to be absolutely WILD about them.
Long story short (pun intended), if you are a longhair at heart but cut your hair just to make yourself attractive to women who want unexceptional men, you will not only be unhappy with yourself, but you will probably, ultimately, be unhappy with your woman, too. If you are a longhair at heart and remain true to yourself, you will attract women who are specifically drawn to your uniqueness and, more importantly, you will be happy with and proud of yourself.

Yeah, I totally agree with you guys. Val especially. The "information" came from my ex wife with whom things are going very well, but absolutely loathes long hair. Bottom line is there is nothing anybody can say or do to influence me to cut my hair. Not even her, and this does not please her ;) If I feel I want to cut my hair, I will, but it will be strictly of my own valition. And honestly, I don't see that day anywhere in the near future.
What type of women are these that are now supposedly "out of your league?"
Also, I agree with one of the replies... ever since I started wearing my hair pulled back in a tail, or bun, I swear I'm getting a lot more smiles from random women on the streets :)

Haha, I dont even know man, that's the thing. I've never had a problem in that area regardless of hair length. The ex will say some pretty mean spirited and would be hurtful things, but they don't mean much to me. What actually goes through my head is more like, "Wow, you're trying pretty damn hard!" Idk, bottom line is my hair is not getting cut ;)
