Just wondering what the longest hair is that any of you have ever seen on a guy? I did see a guy once who wore his black hair down to his waist, folded up (held with an elastic) until it reached his neck, where it was held with another elastic and folded down to mid back, where it was again held with an elastic. That was probably 8 years ago. I'd love to know where he is and what his hair looks like now. Other than that, I think Jack Paterson of 8mmOverdrive has the next longest I've ever seen.
About 14 months ago, riding on my bicycle through a Cologne suburb (with an Amiga 500 set given away to me for free tied to the carrying rack), I suddendly spotted a moustached guy in his 40s, with thick dark-blonde hair down to his thighs! My eyes almost popped out, it made me turn my head instantly... and by the momentum of my upper body bending to the side, the Amiga central unit unfortunately slipped off the rack, hit the pavement, one key of the keyboard broke off... nota bene: worshipping male beauty may have a price!

Wow, I sure would have liked to have seen that. It seems that anything longer than waist-length is pretty rare (around here, anyway). Once it gets to about to butt-length, I've only seen a very few guys with hair that long. Longer than butt-length... you know, when its visible from the front, hanging between the legs... well, I've only seen it maybe once or twice. Sergey on this board is in that category. Even on women that length is so rare that all sightings are memorable to me. But if there's any pictures of men's hair that's longer, don't hesitate to post them here, so we can all be inspired by them!
My hair has 4 inches to go until it reaches my knees.

Little by little. I'd rather wrap the pictures into the content rather than just have the site be about the pics. I will keep adding to it when I get interesting ideas.
Wasn't there a guy in India with 17 foot hair? I heard that was the record. If anybody has a picture, post it! I would love to see that!

If you go to http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com , navigate a bit to get to the search and then put in longest hair, you will get a photo of Hoo Sateow, a medicine man from Thailand. In 1929 he cut his hair and was ill, so has never cut it since. It is now almost 17 feet.
So, the world's longest haired person is a man.

the longest hair I have ever seen is on a person I met
a couple of years ago and see only once or twice a year,
when he is standing the tips of his dreads touch the floor
and yes I mean dreads,he says he has had dread locks for quite a while and the tips of them just touch the floor when he is standing.
also he has a beard that is quite long.
Well, to be honest I doubt that anything below your knees is your own hair. No one has a terminal length of more than 7 years, its very difficult. I mean, floor length hair must truly be awesome, but very unconfortable to take care of, and even hazardous. Anything between the ears and the shoulders is just starting, shoulder length is already rocking, but anything after waist, requires guts, time, money and extensions in most cases. Anyway, if you really want your hair to be longer than your body, good luck and be careful.
Well, maybe you're right. I do remember a female former editor of a kid's tv show over here in the Uk (the show is called Blue Peter - a name meaningless to non Brits) who had never had her hair cut in her life. Of course it reached its terminal length, but at around 11 feet.
