Waves from braiding [PIC]

Haven't posted a pic in a while, but a friend braided my hair yesterday when it was damp and I liked the way it looked when I took the braid out last night, so here's a photo. This braid started at the nape of my neck. Next time, I think I'll try for a bunch of small braids starting at the top of my head so the waves will start higher up. Should look cool.

  That's how my hair looks on its own, no braiding required haha. I like that look though!

    I should clarify that it "usually" looks that way. When it's freshly washed and dried it frizzes up terribly, then relaxes within a few hours.

      Hmmm . . . I have fairly straight hair myself, but if I blow dry it after shampooing, it gets a coarser, frizzier appearance. Then a day later it's smoother and silkier again. If I don't blow dry it, it seems not to get as bad. Maybe the warm dry air pulls the moisture out of the hair?

  Your mane looks gorgeous, Jann. Your hair is really thick. Those waves from braiding are only temporary. Looking good.

  Great looking mane, Jann.
  Braiding does leave quite a beautiful wave. The cheap and safe way to temporarily "perm" your hair. :-)
