Hey all, quick update for anyone interested. This is my "almost 13 month update", seems every time I start growing my hair I move house at the same time, otherwise it would have been at 12 months. Anyhow last haircut on 21-7-09, and I did have a trim 2 weeks ago off the length of the back, which turned out fine I was getting abit over the mullet/curling thing. Once all one length I'll let it fly!!
Good to see everyone doing well, I won't do a list out of the danger I will miss someone don't want to offend :)

With a double blessing of a very thick full head of hair along with a wavy chararcter like yours Matt it definately looks heaps cooler the longer it grows. Look forward to more progress pics from you in the future.

Thanks for the replies guys, will be sure to keep the updates coming. Although I'm sure I'm quite jealous of the length of most guys hair on the board from my point of view! Yeah as for the reddish tint, I while back (4 months!!) I used a supposedly non permanent colour called "caramel" that would wash out in 6-8 washes, however it seems to have stayed a lot longer than that. Not sure whether to keep colouring or just let it grow out/fade. Lesson learned!!

And taken 1 day earlier in this light it looks more golden colour. The front was more strongly affected I think it got a lot more of the cream on it.

It looks like you and I started growing at close to the same time. I started about 11-7-09.
A month ago I also did a trim of the hair that grows from the very bottom of the head and neck area.It was about two inches just to level it off a bit and kill the mullet look.
Like you, I think that is a one time anti-mullet cut that does not need to be done again.
