Hi folks. As some of you know, I am an oldie with mpb who has defied convention by growing out what hair I have to terminal.
The attached photo represents 16 years' growth without trims - although it hasn't looked much different for the last 12 years or so as I reached terminal length disappointingly soon, but I am happy.
This first pic is ponytail pic; will attempt to post nighttime braid pic later on.
Nighttime braid pic.
Thank you for showing pictures of your hair. It is good to see that some guys still prefer long hair with what little they have left and buck the trend to shave off the fringe and be totally bald. And give a defiant "finger" to MPB.

Hi Duncan,
Very well said and I totally agree. There's nothing wrong with working with whatever hair you are able to grow out.Certainly looks way better than shaving it off for sure!

I agree with Mark and Duncan. Cutting one's hair all off just because of MPB (or in my case, a receding hairline) won't change what amount of hair one has -- so you might as well grow it long, especially if you're like the rest of us here at MLHH ("hair-aholics - LOL)....

Or the dreaded comb over or comb forward like one of our customers sports. But great photo there, cool braid. Enjoy your defiance.
As I have always said...""I have lots of hair on the back and sides, so why cut off the "GOOD STUFF" !!""
Thanks for Sharing and being a great inspiration to those of us with sparse locks.

Thanks folks - your support and encouragement mean a lot to me. I tend to suffer a lot from hair envy - today in particular when I saw a guy with loose hip length hair in town.
I enjoy growing what I have, and if I can encourage others to do the same, then that's even better.
And I'm still aiming for no trims until June 2036 (and not even then!)
Better braid pic attached.
Nice classy braid bte!
It looks great on you.
Keep it long forever!

Thanks!
Thanks again!
Will do!
I like the ponytail look for you. If i saw you I would be quick to assume that your a deep thinker or at least very interesting. I don't know why! lmao
It's probably because he would look to be too deep in thought to cut his hair.
Thanks, guys! You mean the absent minded Victorian schoolmaster look?
No, just the ageing hairoholic look.
