Hey. I am still contemplating an undercut (sorry for all this I cant make decisions lol).
Anyway, I would like to here from people who have got a undercut- what maintenence do you have to do? EG: how often do you get it shaved and to what thickness blade, number 2? and as you keep getting it reshaved does the long hair start to receed because the barber cuts a slight amount of longhair each time? (that is a real worry for me if I get one because I have seen people with these drastic undercuts that look rediculous). I only want an inch or so shaved.

above the ears.Your hair will look absolutely cool.Cobain also had a big undercut most of the times, so I think that's a real motive for you.
Thats for the advice man. Do any of you know what blade to have it on when shaving? Like when people say 'ive got a number 2' etc?

OK InUtero, here's what I do. I get it done once a month more or less
but that can be up to you. Usually I (the barber actually) does a
number 2 (about 1/4" I think). Sometimes in the summer when its hot
I'll go to a number 1 (maybe 1/8").
The barber I have now is very good and has not got one long hair yet.
The one before got a few sometimes so I dumped her. You have to watch
them closely until you get one you can trust. My barber told me that
she (yeah a lady barber) cuts the customers hair exactly the way they
want it no matter how dumb she thinks it looks. Which is her way of
saying she doesn't try to impose her ideas on her customers.
At least you are being very careful about your hair decisions.
