Hey Mark !
Actually, 2 inches in 6 months is still not something to be worried of !
Great update!
Vivien
Hey thank you Vivien, it is indeed still growing just at a little slower pace is all. I hope your return to France went good and hope your doing good buddy :)
Lookin' good there Mark and it sounds like your fears of terminal length were unfounded.I'd take the advice from the Obsessed post below and you'll be fine my friend:)Cheers
Mark
Hey thanks Mark, yeah your right, I guess I kept looking at my hair too much and didnt seem to grow all that much until I took a picture and video and I actually saw it grew lol. Hope your doing good my friend, cheers!

Hi Mark,
Great update there and hairs looking great. I'm sure bit by bit it will get longer. We all know its a long and patient game.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey thanks John, your right I don't think im at terminal yet, it's just slowed down somewhat but is still growing. I'll have to wait and see how long my hair will be next year this time around and see how much it grows. :)
Hi Mark,
What a truly outstanding update, and I cannot get over how thick it is! It definitely appears as though your earlier fears of terminal length are unfounded, and there is lots more growing in the cards for you!
Take care, and keep it growing!
David
Hey thanks David! Yes my hair is super thick and wavy that's for sure lol, but thats what I love about it. After taking picturs and video I have def noticed my hair has grown since my 3 year update back in March, I guess I was watching it too much as for say haha. Hope you are doing great my friend. :)
Your hair is looking good, Mark. It is still growing. I saw your video, and I see you use a brush. This may be doing some damage to your hair. Your hair has a frizzy texture which makes it more prone to damage. I would recommend a wide tooth comb instead of a brush. Minimizing damage will allow your hair to reach full length. Also, your moving to a cooler climate will likely help your hair to grow longer as well.
Scott
Hey thanks Scott. I use a brush here and there, but not a lot, I tend to do more finger combing nowadays. I included this photo of a comb I have, will this do the trick?
--------------------------------------------
This is what I use. The teeth are widely spaced. By reducing damage to a minimum, you will be able to grow your hair several inches longer for sure.
Scott
Here's pic of what I use. I start by finger combing, then this comb, then finish with a good boars brush.
Bruce
Mark, Your hair is looking great. I think it will probably grow some more. Mine has slowed down or stopped before and then resumed growing again. Patience my man.
peace, jonalbear
hey thanks John, yeah your right it is still growing and Im at about mid back length now with slight trims along the way and hopefully by next year it will be towards my lower back area :)
Your long hair looks terrific Mark and should be the envy for any guy desiring to grow their hair out long. I saw your video and it was A+ in every respect!
Best wishes-
Justin~
hey thanks Justin! Long hair rules indeed and thanks for the video comment sir :D
Great little video to highlight your 3.5 year milestone!
The hair looks great! Certainly nothing wrong with a little one-time trim to remove the damaged portions.
With better dietary and hair care habits, you'll likely have longer length a year from now.
Thanks for sharing update!
- Oren
Thanks for the nice comments Oren :) And y our right I should def see more hair growth towards next year and I got a 1.5 inch trim to remove damaged ends so now im on a fresh healthy point now again and without taking off that much :)
Nice update, and keep it up. Although it might not be growing as quick as before it will get longer. Try to be as gentle as possible to reduce breakage.
Thanks Vincent :) And yeah I am a lot more softer with my hair when it comes to brushing and changed my diet as well and its improved my hair a lot over the past 2 years, I only had to get a 1.5 inch trim to removed damaged ends so im good to go now!
The hairs looking good there Mark, if you decide to trim, hope you can find someone to do a good job.
All The Best 2 U.
Frank
Thanks for the comment Frank, I got a 1.5 inch trim to remove the damaged ends and now my hair is fresh and ready to grow way longer :)
Your hair is really thick right to the ends. I think you have the potential to still gain considerable length. It's just going to be slower from this point on.
Looking great, Mark!
Thanks Jason :) and since Ive changed my diet routine and started to exercise my hair has improved and become softer over the past few months with vitamins as well and I got a 1.5 inch trim to remove my rough ends and now my hair is very healthy all the way to the ends and its soft again as well! Id say in another 2-3 years I should be at waist length where my goal is :)
I think your hair looks damn good Mark!
If you decide you need to trim, you could try cuttin a 1/2 an inch, then let it grow an inch or so then repeat. That way the older part of your hair would be eventually trimmed away, you would loose very little ground short term and even gain some length long term.
Bruce
Thanks for the comment Bruce! :)
I got 1.5 inches trimmed off the ends and now my hair is healthy all the way to the ends and no more rough hairs are on me now so now I can grow my hair way longer and healthier from this point!
Congratulations on your progress to date Mark. And yes I do enjoy seeing your awesome you-tube presentations too.
I too have changed my diet since making the decision to grow hair long just over 2 years ago. And eating 2 pieces of fruit a day and 5 servings of fresh vegies does make a great deal of difference on the health and growth of your hair. Refined sugar and junk food steals vitamins that could be useful to your hair.
Another way to keep motivated towards healthy life habits with growing a beautiful shiny head of hair.
And only brushing your hair when it's nearly dry and hence stronger and far less fragile then when it's wet.
Best,
Duncan
Hey thanks Duncan, yeah my diet change has made a great change on my hair indeed! :) And been working out like crazy too has helped my hair improve somewhat as well
Looking badass my friend!! You have achieved so much especially with those curls. Hope all is well with you mate, take care \m/
~ Dave
Thanks Dave! I didn't like my curls at first, but now it gives my hair a great look I believe :) Hope all is well with you brother \m/!
Hi Mark,
I wouldn't worry about being at terminal length yet, if I were you -- I can tell just by looking at your thick & very full hair ends that you can still grow additional length (if you still wish to)...
It looks WONDERFUL -- and I look forward to more updates as it continues to grow!
- Ken in San Francisco
Thanks so much Ken! My hair is still growing just a little slower I think. Thanks for the nice comments and will continue to grow longer!!!
