Although having had some doubts about the lenght of my hair, I'm still committed to growing it longer. As a lot of people say here, once it get's to your goal lenght you want it even longer.
Now that I've reached my first goal lenght (full ponytail) quite some time ago I just let it grow and don't check how long it is. It's just there. So taking these pictures is always a surprise to see how long it got!
Until two years I didn't have split ends but right now I have a lot of them. But it doesn't matter, my hair is still growing after 3 years without a single trim. Although a lot of people (with shorter hair as me) say to me to have a trim so my hair will grow faster. They just don't believe it's not true. Well I just let them think that and keep on doing things my way :)
I'm very close to belt lenght with my hair pulled, but my goal is belt lenght without pulling it.
Hair this long is actualy quite comfortable, I wear it loose more often because it's so long it stays there a lot better when shorter. One surprising milestone I archieved was hair getting caught in my armpits.
I've got three pictures, one from the back with my hair dry.
One just after shower, with my hair pulled (almost belt lenght!)
The last one is from the front, compare it to my avatar one year ago.

Your hair looks outstanding and it goes to show what patience will do in achieving a long mane:)Thankfully you didn't listen to that bogus advice about how trimming your hair will make it grow faster.That's rubbish in my opinion.They just want to see you in shorter hair so they try a trick like that to get you to do it.One nice thing about a length as long as yours is that you can wear it loose more often because its own weight will keep it down whereas shoulder blade length will blow all over the place if its windy.Anyway I applaud you for sticking with it as you even inspire me!More guys here need to think like you my friend:)Have a great weekend!Cheers

This is a truly outstanding update, and you have come such a long ways in only 3 years. I think your growth rate is above average, to reach near belt length in a relatively short period of time. Your waves are awesome, and don't listen to those who tell you to trim, just keep on growing!

Hey Justin, thanks for your comment I probably will hit belt lenght easy within the next year. My growth rate over the summer has been very fast, hope it keeps up.

Thanks Bruce, your right and it's an awesome spirit to have not only for growing hair but doing things you want in your life. But growing my hair was one of the first things I did and it was very easy to do your own thing.

I'm very proud indeed, took a lot of patience and haircare but I reached a very good lenght with nice hairquality :)
I'm looking forward to the heidenfest this year, heidevolk and ensiferum are two of my favorite bands. And I like bathory so I hope the cover band is good.
