Hi,
I've been letting my hair grow for more than one year and I usually par my hair in the middle. Actualy, I want to change my hair style but I don't know exactly what to do. I thought I could part my hair in the right (Like the picture I post) (or in the left but not in the middle) but I can't decide if it looks weird or not. Nobody in my circle likes long hair so I thought I needed advices from people who won't give me advices like " Just cut you hair".
By the way, I have a good advice for everyone : Don't use your spellchecker when you want to write a text in another language, it's disturbing.
Here is my actual hairstyle : http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/8446/225224.jpg

PS : How do you do to post more than one pic correctly ?
Sorry I do not have an idea for you. Your hair looks great the way it is to myself. In any event, here is the photo brighten a bit so that others may see it better and with luck give you some ideas.
All the best-
Justin~
Thanks.
Your hair is just slightly longer than mine. I also am keeping the part to the side, as I did when I was trimming my hair. Years ago, when I had hair past the middle of my back, I had the part in the middle and it was just fine. Part your hair as you like, and don't let the naysayers get to you. Your hair looks good.
Thanks. Actually, I was planning to have the part in the middle when my hair would be a little longer.
Hi Raphaël V.,
Very nice pic of you and your hair:)Personally I like your hair the way it is now but I'm a guy who center parts his own hair.lol.All I can say is just experiment moving the part or possibly brush it all straight back with no part.Being that my hair is dead straight the parting works for me and looks neat.As for your question about linking multiple pics in one post.........well I've never figured that out either but I know there are others here who can help you with that one.Just keep checking back my friend:)Cheers
Mark
Hi Raphaël,
Probably best to just start parting it down the middle.
It will temporarily be a little awkward as your follicles re-adjust to the new orientation.
I used to comb/brush my hair to one side for a long time and then one day I started parting it down the middle.
Here's an old pic from that time (Aug 1988).

Typo - I meant try parting it the side.
Try it for a while and see how you feel with it!
Great looking hair either way.

Thanks, Oren. I'll try parting it in the side for a few days to test it that way.
I like both sides the same so I chose to part in the middle, but do whatever your like most!
Your hair is looking fine. Stick with the centre part - that generally looks best.
Thanks. I plan to do that again when my hair will be a little longer.
There's nothing wrong with playing around with how you part your hair. And the choices aren't limited to left, right and center. You can do an off-center part where it's only about 3/4" right or left rather than they typical inch plus. Just keep playing around until you achieve a look you like. For me I like an off-center part because it doesn't accentuate my tall forehead like a center part does. Admittedly a center part does make it easier to keep your hair out of your face. I usually end up wearing it that way at work because there it's a safety issue rather than a vanity issue.

Hi, I think the side parting is cool, its quite trendy at the moment and gives a good grungy, indie look. When my hair was your length I liked it with a side part as that is its natural way to fall.
When it gets longer as it is now I find the centre part more practical.
cheers Dave
Hi Rafael,
As your hair continues to grow and change as it flows onward & downward, just enjoy the self-discovery process, taking each day as it comes, being fearless about "experimenting" a little bit from time to time. For me, styling my hair in different ways has evolved quite a bit over time. In fact, it's one of the nicest things about having long hair -- it's never boring!
Hope my comments have helped!
