When I was a kid I would often think about what I wanted to look like when I was an adult. I would picture myself with long hair and a long beard. Today I looked in the mirror and finally saw that image starring back at me in the mirror. I have become the man I wanted to be as a child. Now that I am an adult I have revised what I want to look like. My new goal is hair and beard at least floor length. And so I happily continue to grow.
Looking great Kailongbeard. Letting mother nature be your hairstylist is a great idea.

There we go all fixed :-)
Hey kailongbeard,
This is the first time I remember ever seeing you post a pic of yourself. AWESOME!! Nice to see what you look like -- and great hair & beard!!
Just a friendly reality check re. floor-length, though: if your genetics allows that much length, more power to you; but just realize that it's probably unlikely for you to accomplish that much growth (especially considering your age, which doesn't look like you're in your teens anymore LOL)....
Using myself as a comparison example, I've wanted butt-length or even knee-length for a long time now; but it looks like I've hit terminal length. At age 57, I'm grateful that I can grow it that long (even though I still wish I could grow it longer). And I've been growing it with that goal in mind for over 10 years! But, it just doesn't seem to want to grow any longer -- my hairs fall out after they reach a maximum length of to the waist or belt-line.
I had an aunt on my mother's side of my family that had knee-length hair for many years -- so it's possible that when I was a bit younger I might have been able to grow my own that long as well. But as many life-long longhairs have often reported, as a person gets older, their terminal length tends to "shrink" a bit, as well as most people experience some degree of hair-thinning as they age.
I hate to be the one to toss a bit of cold water on your dreams; but let's just say that I will be THRILLED for you if you actually end up succeeding at even one hair reaching as far down as the floor. Genetics like that is highly highly unusual -- maybe only those lucky longhairs in 1% or less of the world's population! But hey, you'll never find out if you're one of them, unless you give it the old college try, right?
Good luck!!!

Hi kailongbeard,
You are doing very well, and have a mane and beard to be proud of. Ken, in his post, has given you excellent advice regarding your goal, and whatever length you achieve, I wish you the very best, and look forward to following your future journey.
Keep it growing,
David

Your hair and beard look great together. How long you can grow it is determined by genetics and nutrition. Floor length for a beard is a lofty goal for sure. (My hair is at knee length and my beard has a few strands over 13 inches long.) Mine are maxed out. Again, eat a clean diet. That will help you to reach the greatest length.

Good update! Scott's right, eat healthy things, treat your hair nicely and you may just achieve your goal!

Hi kailongbeard!
First I want you to know that I´m admiring your hair, expecially your beard. It looks awesome on you, so fitting. Best wishes for your dream of a floor-long hair/beard!
Now a question expecially about your beard: You know, I have relatevely "nice" hair which grows pretty fast and looks fine.
But my beard is like nothing. And I´m looking for a "good advice" eversince.
A friend of mine said me to write to this forum, so I´d appreciate your reply whole a lot :)
Nice regards from Franconia, Germany (:
