sometimes I still struggle with it, my hair gets super wavy when it is shorter, so I remember always being unhappy with it unless it is wet, same sort of goes for when it is long like now, I like it when it is wet, not as much when dry
does anyone ever think about finding some genius hairstylist and getting it cut to a midlength style? I remember seeing pics of Tommy Lee with his hair midlength and looking fantastic, but I bet his hairstylist probably charges $300
There are hundreds of different medium-length styles out there to choose from -- you just have to find the length and style that you feel suits you best!
I'm all in favor of encouraging guys who don't aspire to have mega-long hair to NOT return to their boring former short styles. Hair can be so expressive, so diverse -- so why limit yourself to either one extreme or the other?
There are 2 hardcore facts about hair that no one can ever dispute: 1) you can always cut your hair shorter, as it is physically and logistically a very easy thing to do (especially since the invention of scissors - LOL); 2) you can always grow your hair longer...
Regarding option #2, Mother Nature is on your side with this. In fact, even after you die your hair will continue to grow for awhile - how cool is THAT! (lol)
The important thing to remember about hair, though, is that in order to successfully grow it out, it takes patience and persistence (persistence to stay away from scissors LOL) -- easier said than done. Finding the exact length that is "ideal" to suit your tastes and life-style is just a matter of time and a bit of experimentation...
Happy hair-style hunting!
