Hey Guys
Met some longhaires on this White Star Line who are saying similar things. This Summer was so very unusual (weather-wise) that their hair didn't do as well as others. So for the Poll, how many of you guys noticed a difference?
1. More tangles than normal?
2. LESS Sheding than usual? (Last few years have seen more for a number of guys here.)
Well, must run before we set off again. Some joker claims he had a vision that there was a snowball floating way out there. I bet him a million dollars his "vision" was a fake! LOL :-)

Hi Justin,
If it's one thing my hair don't like is humidity. Flyaways and difficult to keep at bay.
That is one beautiful ship!! looks very exquisite :) Take care man.
My hair was great all summer although at Wacken it got a bit frizzy due most likely to the disruption in my hair care routine.
or too much beer.
Sail on....

Hi Justin,
Well as hot and humid this summer was out east my hair behaved its usual way for that time of year. Then September rolls around which has been like an annual "National Shedding Month" for me.The shedding this month appears to be slowing down finally:)
So enjoy your trip Justin and I'll catch you at the next port stop.Hopefully one in the land of longhairs;)Cheers
Mark
That ship looks suspiciously like the Titanic...
I'm grateful to say that I've not been sailing by any dangerous icebergs recently (other than occasionally having to prune a Floribunda rose named, "Iceberg"); so, no devastating disasters have occurred at all for me this summer, at least not hair-wise.
Hey, wait a minute... Didn't you just bid us all a fond farewell a short while ago? You must have changed your mind and jumped ship, grabbing onto one of those little life-boats after swimming through the frigid 'berg-infested waters! Is your alter-ego named "Molly Brown", perhaps?
In any case, my advise to you, Justin, is to stay far away from any old-fashioned cruise ships sailing precariously through the North Atlantic. Hop onto a cruise ship destined for the South Pacific instead... Tahiti and Bora-Bora are not only iceberg-free islands of Paradise, I hear that they also tend to have a lot of local longhairs living there as well!

Hi Justin,
What a great thread, and be careful of those iceberg filled waters lest ye ole ship start a sinkin'!
My hair does have "moods", if you could put it that way, and doesn't like heat and humidity one bit. On those humid days, it was in a "bad mood", subject to tangles and all that stuff. Today, with low humidity and sunshine, my hair is a lot more "cheerful". Ironically, my hair is happiest in winter.
As for shedding, I haven't made any true correlations as for any time of year.
Take care, and always great to see you!
David
Okay :-) Even with the wasser du Wacken!
For me (and anyone else down under) we're just coming out of winter! Well, in mid-spring now.
Anyway, I haven't noticed any changes in shedding, regardless of the weather. I've been wearing a tail more often as it gets warmer though.

My hair did well this summer. Back when I had severe shedding, I had previuosly cut down on lecithin. I was taking about 5 grams per day and cut back to about 1 gram per day. Several months back, I went back to taking about 5 grams per day (a slightly heaping teaspoonful) and the shedding plunged. It took me over a year to figure out what was causing the shedding. I tried adjusting my supplements, before realizing that I needed to go back to 5 grams of lecithin per day.
