Hi Guys, I promised not to update too much, today is a bit of a milestone... 3rd time growing out this time around, I'm just short of 15 months from #1 back and sides and a little longer on top.
Today I am finally able to do a half tail, albeit a very high one. Will make doing the housework and windy days much more bearable! Looking forward to being able to do a full tail in another 6 months or so.
BTW thanks moderators for adding me back to the users directory :)

Your hair always looks great--it's so thick. Your hair seems a bit darker in this pic than usual--maybe the lighting.

Welcome back, Matt. Your hair is thick and gorgeous as it was before. Try to keep it long this time. I know, Australian summers can be really hot. Perihelion (closest approach to the sun at 147.1 million kilometers) is in early January. Tying it up as in the photo should keep you a bit cooler. When longer, multiple hair ties along the length will help to keep you cool. I do this with my hair.

Your hair is just so thick, and you are off to a fabulous start in your current journey to long hair. Hopefully, you will keep it growing onwards this time around, and you should have no trouble achieving waist length with your thickness.

Hey Matt, great update and your on your way back to longhairdome! :) You have super wavy/thick hair like I do and even though my hair is about mid back, the high tail is still one of my favs to do now.

Hi sorry guys I didn't get to reply properly the other day,
Longhair511 you said it looked a bit darker, that's true usually the underneath layers of my hair start out very dark ,esp at the back, once they get some sunlight they seem to lighten up. Also I had coloured it a couple of months ago which makes it darker too, caled dark natural blonde.
Absalom yest it does get hot in early Jan, it gets worse in Feb/March when the humidity kicks in in Sydney, really uncontrolable hair happens then! I like the segmented tail look too.
DavidN yes I hope to keep growing it long, I'm not sure if I'll get to waist length but normally once you start you just want to keep it going so we'll see!

Sorry for the late reply but better late than never:)It's certainly great to see you back again and your hair is looking ever so wonderful.I've always liked the half tail look being its sort of like wearing it loose but still tied back.Looks really nice on you.Hopefully you can continue to grow out a very long mane if that's your desire.Other than that you look ACE my friend.Cheers
