Hey everyone here on this fabulous Hyperboard! :-)
Just stopping in from my "barge" ocean cruise ship as it goes off for a bit and undergoes some tests before we continue on. (BTY: Expected in the "Bay Area" around Feb. 12th. At long last I will arrive and I DO hope a meet-up is possible at Duarts. And if Ken is reading this, I have that Maroon Coat to give him at long last.) Yeah, I know guys, I am all heart. But for a little update on this "grande cruise au de worlde!"
Would you believe? After that "Snowball" melted that we were stuck in at sea for nearly 6 weeks, a leak was discovered and they actually stuck Captain Smiths head in the hole below deck near the boilers until we got to port. He is now being hailed a hero, for had it not been for his head fitting perfectly, they "say" that this ship would sink. Ha Ha Ha........sure, anything to beef-up the captains ego. This thing is UNSINKABLE!!! (BTY: No dandruff in his beard now after that heroic deed.)
Such fun stopping in today and seeing some names to remember. Before I was abducted, i,i,i mean "retired" from my post as moderator, these names were still here and new ones as well. GREAT! :-)
My hair is growing well now and actually getting longer you may be interested to know. Kinda fun actually to see it "poof out" all over again just like "Bozo the Clown." (Ken: remember him back in the 50's on the old 78 records and the picture book?) Oh wait Ken and my apologies for I know compared to myself that you are just a spring chicken in years compared to one who has graduated to the age of "fossile!" Ah, to be young again.
Uh-oh......I hear the Fog Horn calling the passengers. (That's how they call us.) And there is NO FOG! (Only smog.)
Well, Bon Voyage one and all and PLEASE keep that hair growing and NEVER give up! In EVERY single case I ever knew of, any guy who made it to long hair looked fabulous. One thing in life that is a sure winner. Long hair will ALWAYS stand the test of time and ALWAYS be a style that never goes out of style.
My best always to you great guys
Justin~
Took this photo 3 days before the heroic deed of saving the ship. Alas, since, Capt. Smith is suffering a bit from frost bite of the nose (caused by the very icy water) and to make matters worse, because he was leaning so close to one of the boilers, his butt was "slightly" seared.
No wonder he keeps pacing and never sits down.
All thoughts and prayers be with him today.
Hey Justin,
Great to hear from you since undergoing your fabulous cruise and what an adventure it appears to be.Glad your ship didn't sink as that's no way to throw a party! That's cool to hear you will be stopping in the bay area and if you do make it to Duarts
be sure to have some of that olliberry pie!YUM!!!!In the meantime be sure to get some rest as the sea air can be very tiring.I heard its great for making hair grow very, very fast:)Cheers
Mark
Hi Justin,
Ahoy there, Matey, ye ole ship is a still floating, on her maiden voyage! Perhaps we can meet for one last cocktail in the bar before she sinks into the ocean for good!
Always great to read your most entertaining posts, and I will most certainly stayed tuned for what happens on the next leg of your voyage!
Talk to you soon,
David
Glad things are going well. Good hearing from you.
I never thought I'd see the day when I could say I know a fruitier fruitcake than myself. Until today, that is...
And this post has more walnuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, and more just plain nuts than in my wildest dreams. I need to go soak my head in an iceberg -- maybe then I can wake up to realize it was all just a very bizarre dream!
Ken
That's two of you then lol!
Yes, there's a reason that old saying, "It takes one to know one!" is still popular today!!
Hey Justin glad your doing good and growing your hair back out. :) Hope all is well as you grow out your hair again !
