I had help with these, but I think the double french braid turned out pretty good. I don't think it is at all unmasculine as someone said when I mentioned wanting to give this a try several months ago.
Fantastic looking braids. Your friend did a great job of braiding them, too.
Fantastic! Most of us cannot pull that off. Great look.
Cool looking double braid there Daniel.Certainly is different and whomever did it knew what they were doing. Thanks for posting that pic as its fun to see interesting hairstyles done on men:)Cheers

Those look great, Daniel. That experiment is a smashing success.

Hey Daniel, I like. Still befuddled as to how to braid my hair myself. Usually get my coworker to do it for me when the mood strikes. Whenever I try and get to the point of the hair tie at the end it unravels, but practice makes perfect I guess. Any suggestions?
I think it is amazing and very cool, ignore the peasants!!

I read them to my friend, she had been upset about how it turned out because she felt she could have done a better job. She feels better about it now. Charlie, what I did when I was just learning to braid my own hair (and still do) is braid when my hair is moderately damp. That prevents the hair from unraveling so much when you're trying to put on the hairtie.
I love it!
Looks great on you Daniel.

These are called pigtails where I come from..
and if you do put them in after washing your hair.. not soaking wet but damp.. d a m p .. and leave it in overnight, you'll have lovely wavy hair the next day - make sure they've completely dried before taking bands out - it's really good for people with silky fine hair who want a bit of bounce once in a while ..
and then there be ringlets... anyone know how to do that?? (I do!!) :)
