I haven't posted in a while. I've been growing my bangs out since maybe august and they are now just above my lip when pulled.
Anyway, I dyed my brown hair black with temp dye but it was 24-day because I couldn't get 16-day in my little town drugstore. How can I get the dye /completely/ out a few days early without destroying my hair? It's about day 16 now. I want to get it out before I meet a lady friend who might be not-so-pleasantly suprised by the color change. Also, the dye is said to fade gray (on the box) so I'd like to not be grey-haired when the day comes.
thank you.
I used temporary dye on my hair, the only way I know to speed it up is shampooing over and over again. But everyone's hair is different, I couldn't tell you how long it will take. And it's possible that you may be gray by the time of your date.
But as a woman myself, I can't see any reason why your date would have a problem with black or gray hair. If she did, I think that would be a sign to stay away from her.
I don't know that she'd have a problem-she's not the type. It's more about wanting to look my best and I really don't feel that that includes black or gray hair.
Thanks for the advice. Should I still use conditioner or will that make the color last longer?

.
I'm sorry but I don't know. I'd guess that it wouldn't matter.
MY DEAR ALEXANDER--
YOUR HAIR WILL NOT FADE TO GRAY, UNLESS IT WAS GRAY TO BEGIN WITH. THE MFR. ASSUMED THAT ONLY A GRAY BOY WOULD COLOR, AND CLEARLY THE MFR. IS OUT OF DATE. BUT YOU ARE NOT OUT OF DATE. TELL YOUR DATE, THAT YOU ENJOY EXPERIMENTING WITH YOUR HAIR AND LIKE ALL SCIENTIST, NOT ALL EXPERIMENTS WORD. ASK YOUR DATE WHAT HE/SHE WOULD PREFER.
