i was on this board and posted pics here few years back, i have very healthy hair and grew it to my midback then got bald for the change of it. Now the hair on my forhead seems to be lesser after once i got myself bald whereas the rest of the hair on my head is still the same thick, healthy and voluminous except the area on forhead which is pressed when one prostates on the ground. The hair of that area seems to be lesser than before and growing at very slow rate as compared to rest of the head. Since i am muslim and have to do prayers so is it possible that when i got bald the area of forhead that get pressed on the floor during prostation damaged the hair follicles in that part and now it has lesser hair and growing at lesser pace? Now i want to grow my hair long again any remedy you could suggest.
It has sort of this shape now --^-- striaght line then inverted v at the forhead then again staright line.
Hi aze,
I really don't remember you but I take your word that you visited some time ago.Sorry to hear you gave up on your mid back hair for a totally opposite look.I'll never understand why a guy who has very long hair would do that but maybe I'm weird or something. As for you concern I would not think you doing prayers as a muslim would damage the follicles on your forehead.Maybe your hairline is just changing as you age?Possibly someone else here might have a different idea.Of course if you'd like to submit a new pic that would give a better idea of your concern.Anyway I hope your new hair journey will be a good one:)Cheers
Mark
well i was here 3 to 4 years ago, long time so probably no one would remember be by now
I don't know if this is true or not, but I do think that the hair growth can be effect sometimes by constant rubbing in one area. Though I don't think your daily prayer would do it, more likely it is age related.
I think it's probably the natural ageing process Aze.
My hairline sounds similar and has been changing over the years.

I agree with you, Bruce, that it's probably the natural aging process, as well as my hairline has been slowly changing over the years, too....
If only I had the same hairline I had back during my teens and early 20s!

Me too!
If only we could have the wisdom(?) of now and the body of youth, but with my luck it would be the other way around!

well guys in my case its surely isnt the ageing process is it?
with me being only 23 years right now
I hate to tell you, but age has nothing to do with hair loss totally. Some start losing at an early age or turn gray early. I have a cousin that was gray by age 19.
