Pulled my hair back this morning and except for the very forward hairs, (not yet long enough) I was able to form up a short (3 inches) tail. Still too short for me to be comfortable with. But it is a good sign. Now I need to find some comfoetable ans stylish hair ties/clips/bands. Any suggestions, and remember, Christmas is coming.

Plain old Goody or Scunci Ouchless (no metal joiner) are good for me.
I'm sure there's some Christmas colors if you want to be bold.

Depending on the hair color, you could get some discrete clips for the front and more uncomfortable bits if you want to wear it out.
Hair bands are one of those things where spending a little more can go a LONG way! I haven't had proper long hair, but I have lived with an ex long enough (8years!) to know that an extra 50cents can get you more comfortable, longer lasting ties. I would say try to go for some thick ones; I like the slightly knotted looking styles.
I mostly wear earth tones, so when the day comes for me to get some I am going to go for browns and greens, but throw in some primary colors just when you feel like matching.
