I am probably going to get my sides shaved tomorow to get rid of the straggly undersides and have it slighlty undercut. Also this will help when I tie it.
I was wondering how do you tie your hair?
Do you use a parting or not?
Do you have the tail high or rubbing on the neck?
Have you got the sides shaved slightly?
And with the bangs, do you pull them straight above your head or around the sides, over the undercut so you can see it, (if you have one) or do you cover that up and make the bangs wrap the head just above the ears?
Thanks a lot as you have all helped in my mission to regrow my hair and now that it is finally long again, I have conquored the many problems and seen the many successes and now I have done it. It is just short to tie but is nearly there! After this I wont have many more questions but hope to help the people who are just starting to grow.

Cant really use that name today though (YAHOOO!!!!)...anyways.I brush the top straight back and the sides back. There is a little bit of a natural part in the middle on top. I use gel and/or hairspray to hold down the top and the sides back until it is long enough to go in the tail. Good luck to ya man on the cuts.

I maintain a middle parting and just stick it behind my years and into a tail.
I comb everything straight back. One day, when it is long enough, I'll wear a ponytail most of the time. Now, I just tuck it behind the ears.
I part mine in the middle and then comb the sides back. Sometimes I
put the tail low so part of the undercut is covered. Sometimes I put
the tail higher so all the undercut is visible. Good Luck!!
I part it in the middle, tuck the sides behind the ears (for now, and until they decide to do something different, naughty bangs!), and tie it back at the bottom of my hairline. When it's long enough I might tie it at the actual base of the neck, or in the middle of my back. I'm really not sure. I'd like to do a sort of Sephiroth thing some day, which could be fun, if heavy on the hairspray *lol*
