I've read on here a couple times that hair may go through a resting stage. From what I gather, this happens at no specific times or intervals, it randomly occurs for no predicted amount of time? and that it means your close to terminal? God I hope not!
I ask because over the last couple months my hair has been maintaining 10"
I've noticed my hair seemed to grow slowly for a period of time, so I do believe hair does have it's dormant time. It eventually started growing and I've added at least 6 inches this year alone.
Leave it grow, even if it seems to have stopped. Sometimes it's hard to notice new growth right after it reaches shoulder length.
That's good to hear - I feel like it's still in the awkward stage but long enough to tolerate. My hair does not grow real fast any way and it just seems to have been at this length for months - especially the shorter layers. Patience is the key...
