It's been one helluva long time since I last posted here, but here I am, 40 months and still growing. Only trims were seek and destroy since I started my ever enjoyable journey of becoming a longhair.
I've met my original goal length which is pretty much at mid back now. I have decided to go for terminal which hopefully will reach my waist if not more. Thanks everyone on MLHH for being my inspiration through the awkward stage. The longer it gets, the longer I want it to get!
This is unbrushed hair from out of a shower. When brushed, it measures about 20 - 22 inches :) More pics to follow soon, hopefully
Great looking hair you've got there, looking forword to some more pictures!
Thanks! Hopefully I'll have a few more pictures to post in the upcoming weeks. I usually wear in a pony tail, I'm going to post more pics soon.

Your hair looks fantastic, Pat. You are yet another MLHH success story. Keep it growing.

Thanks! You and many others have been an inspiration for helping me grow my hair over the last 40 months. your hair is awesome and hopefully some day I'll get to our length!
Should be YOUR length, not our length lol. I bet you wouldn't be too happy if you were only at mid back again!
Pat, Awesome look! Great progress during your 40 month journey. My hair is at about waist length at the 72 month point so I think there is definitely hope for yours. Good luck on your continues path.
peace, jonalbear
Really like the Van Dyke as well!
Thanks for the kind words and inspiration. Your hair is looking great also!
Great to see you back... well done on the great progress over the last 40 months.
Couldn't help but notice the Graco playpen on your lap... are some other congratulations in order, as well?
Best,
Val
Thanks for the kind words! Yes, me and my wife are expecting our first son in early January, and of course, he'll be one of us! No haircuts! Too bad he'll have to wait a few years before he learns how to type before showing his progress on here!
Well then, CONGRATULATIONS! Happy holidays to you and your growing (pun intended) family.

Hi Pat,
It's great to hear from you and I hope that things are well with you. It's always nice to hear from people that we have supported in the past and is it 40 months and how time goes by, and they hair is looking amazing and great progress. I have to agree with Jonalbear the Van Dyke suits you as well.
Great to hear your trying for terminal length and we look forward to your updates.
Take care,
Cheers,
John.B
Great hearing from you! You and many others have been a great inspiration for me since I was new to these boards! It's because of you guys I am ever increasing my goal length, and the fact that I reached my original goal of mid back. I hope to be less of a stranger around here, and hopefully I'll be an inspiration to the newcomers here wishing for longer hair.
Great progress! Wow, there's such a difference from your avatar photo. Congrats on the addition to your family soon to come!
Hi Pat,
Thanks for posting and I can say your one of the inspirational success stories we've had. I'm glad your going for terminal it's like another adventure in a way.
We look forward to the other pics. Looks excellent.
Kevin
Hi Pat,
What a truly inspirational and updating update, and your hair has come so far since your first posts, which I remember so well. Your hair is very thick, and appears to have more wave as well, and it is very cool that you plan to go for terminal.
Hopefully, you will stop by the hyperboard more often, and please don't be a stranger!
Keep it growing,
David
