I've been thinking about hats lately. Is there any particular style that you guys think goes well with long hair? One obvious choice, I think would be the Rasta hat (tam beret).
As a completely random aside:
I've been smoke free for about 3 months now!

Hi Dmitri,
Well I'll include a pic of me with a style hat that looks good with longhair:)Not sure it will suit you but at least it gives you and idea.Oh and congrats on being smoke free:)You so much better off that way my friend.Cheers
Mark
I love your hat, I've got one nearly like it. Cowboy hats with long hair is classic. :-)

Hi Dale,
I tend to agree as the two seem to go hand in hand:)I'm sure other hats look good with longhair as maybe others here will show those off. When I saw this hat and tried it on I just had to have it;)

I love hats with longhair. Several varieties are suitable I think. Here's a shot of me in my Indiana Jones style fedora.

I would have thought that the answer was obvious.
Hey Dmitri,
totally random, but I liked Jay's hat from the movie Jay and Silent Bob (not his personality that much, oh well . . .).
Cowboy-look is a winner too :-)
Hugs,
Eva
How bout a top hat??? :-DDD
... pipe and cutlass optional (but recommended).

Dmitri, I always thought the Riverboat Gambler style hat looked good on Stevie Ray Vaughn, but you have to find what works for you.
Although I am a woman (with long hair -- and who likes to wear hats!!), I believe the hat-selecting advice I give to other women will work for you too. When selecting a hat, it needs to meet the following three criteria:
1) fits correctly (no matter how much you love a specific hat, if it is ill-fitting, it will not flatter you)
2) YOU look good wearing it (a hat that flatters one person may not flatter someone else)
3) you FEEL good wearing it (don't choose a hat because it is the latest fashion, or because someone else likes the way you look in it; choose a hat that "fits" your personality, and that you feel completely comfortable wearing)
My other two tips are:
Just try it -- sometimes a hat that only looks so-so on the rack, looks great when you put it on!
Don't worry if it's too plain-looking. First, find the right hat for you -- then, you can embellish it (a leather band, silver conchos, etc.).
Good luck! And congrats on being smoke free!! :)
