A few weeks ago I promised to post an action shot of my hair.
This photo taken during the 2009 Soccer 7's International Master's Tournament in Tenerife, shows me tussling with former Scotland International Darren Jackson, who earned 28 caps for his country and played for various top flight football clubs including Hiberian, Celtic, Newcastle and Hearts amongst others.
Oh... and it gives a great view of my ponytail in its natural wavy state.
Cool action pic there Sorted as your hair looks fabulous doing its thing:)Seems like soccer is one sport that is longhair friendly compared to others.I like hockey but its a shame the majority of players are buzzed or bald:( Maybe its those nasty helmets they have to wear that's bad for longhair.Maybe they should go back to the good ole' days when they played without helmets.Anyway thanks for that great pic Sorted as its continues being a pleasure seeing you back home again here my friend:)Cheers
Mark
Oh and for the record, if you call FOOTBALL, "Soccer" in Central Europe, no-one will know what you are talking about. Call it "soccer" in Britain and you are likely to get stabbed.
Its a transatlantic thing, but as a Brit I have to say "Football" seems like a more apt name for our sport than "American Football". Especially when you consider that in "soccer" only the goalkeepers are allowed to use their hands, the rest of the players on the field must kick the ball with their feet. Unlike "American Football", where you all appear to play as rush goalies in body armour.
*blank faces from the US crowd* LOL!
I agree...but now in the US you can also find people talking about futbol=soccer.
Plus you can always find one or two longhaired players LOL
Actually that's also true for NFL players isn't it? There's some hair on display there these days too.
As a fellow Brit its football! Its good to hear you're a Brit too sorted as there seems to be more of a stigma over here than in the USA. I work in the mortgage business and I'm not sure how my boss in going to react when I just don't cut my hair, which I won't. I'm 4 months in now and he's already
Calling it a mess but seeing great shots like yours incentivise me further. Have any of your bosses ever commented on your hair?
Great shot of your ponytail. Your hair looks great and seems to be about the same color as mine.
Keep it growing.

Very nice and full looking ponytail sorted. Never knew you played Soccer. Great action shot and thank you so much for sharing! :-)
Take care-
Justin~
Yeah I play for 3 teams competing in all 3 tiers of our local 7-aside league. Veteran's (over 35s), Master's (over 30s) and Open (all ages). I'm only 32, but Veteran teams are allowed two players aged 30-35, because team numbers are thin.
We play on a half-sized outdoor pitch with the same rules as normal 11 aside football except there is no offside and opposing players must stand 5 yards (rather than the usual 10 yards) away from the ball at free kicks.
I typically play 2-3 nights a week.

Your ponytail looks good David. I would love to see a closeup of it, unstraightened.

That's an awesome head of hair you have there! I think the wave really suits you nicely.
Another wonderful long-hair action shot - Looking great Sorted!

Wow! This picture proves that long hair IMPROVES the looks of many men! I love the thickness and waves of your ponytail! It's so perfect and looks great on you this way. You're a fit and handsome man indeed.
