A lurker comes out of hiding!
I attempted becoming a longhair over a year ago because I have always had short hair. The main reason for the short hair was because of social and peer influences. I think I look great with short hair but I also think I look so unique and free with long hair.
I cut my hair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to stick with it and because EVERYONE I knew was encouraging me or essentially telling me "you should cut your hair." Mind you, some of them did say the longhair wasn't bad but they just liked the short hair more. Needless to say, I really began to regret my decision to lop it all off just a couple weeks after.
Well I like my hair long-I feel that it's an expression of my life in general from being a young father, to being a student, to being an atheist. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found this site! You guys are all so inspirational and unique. The members here have really encouraged me to not be afraid to stand out and express myself. I hope to become a regular here and I will definitely post update pics when there is some substantial growth! :)

Hey Allen - You look great with both long hair and short hair! I prefer you with long hair... just ad the smile and your sideburns. Keep the facial hair too!
